HOW WE WORK
LOGO DESIGN
Typically, our projects begin with logo design.
Having listened to the client’s requirements we create a number of initial design concepts which reflect and challenge the brief.
The logo is developed over a number of quoted stages, based on the client’s comments, until the logo is approved.
The client is then supplied with the signed-off logo in various file formats (or master logos) for their on-going use.
In most cases the client goes off and uses the logo in whatever way they wish – usually uploading to their website, sending to a vehicle decal or signage company or creating their own internal documents/stationery.
Alternatively, they ask us to help them!
PACKAGING GRAPHICS DESIGN
It is a similar process for clients who contact us for our help creating a product or packaging brand identity.
Alongside the logo design process we consider typefaces and imagery together with proposals on suitable print finishes and materials and how they work best in a 3D form.
We create 3D design concepts and show them as realistic visuals of examples of the products (e.g. bottles, tubes, labels, cartons etc.)
We call this packaging graphics design.
Once the design is approved we then create the specific artworks for each product, ready for printing.
MARKETING & PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS DESIGN
Other work involves creating company stationery (business cards, letterheaded paper etc.), designing magazine advertisements and other print-based marketing materials which help support the brand, whether a service or a range of products.
These items are usually based on the design created by us (or from existing brand guidelines if requested) during an identity design project, enabling a consistent image to be maintained.
REFRESH & DEVELOP
Sometimes we are approached to work with, refresh or develop an existing logo or packaging graphics design identity or to work with or overhaul packaging artworks created by others – either is fine by us!
