We’re pleased to show our work on a label identity design project that we created for a range of four, baby care fragranced petroleum jelly products for the care of a baby’s young bottom.
Working with an initial label design concept created by the product manufacturer, Mamado asked us to bring it into line with other design work we’ve created for the Mamado brand previously.
With only a cutter guide for the label and no actual sample of the jar itself to work with, we produced a 3D model based on internet images of similar products.
The ability to visualise the product with actual label artwork allowed us to then match appropriate colours to the relevant baby care product lids.
The brief required a lot of descriptive text describing the product’s various features and benefits as well as generic imagery, together with specific imagery of the highlighting fragrance itself – plus the brand logo and colour coding elements.
The finished products all feature the new baby care label identity design graphics, each fragrance type having its own label highlight colour that is reflected further on the colour-matched lids. Peel and read labels featuring the usual directions, ingredients and warning statements appear on the reverse.
This initial range of Baby Guard baby care products is available at independent retailers and we are currently working on further baby care products to add to the range!
