Paul Cartwright Branding was appointed by interior designer, Yasuda Avery to create an logo design that would reflect the quirky, yet comfortable nature of the the first in a chain of independent bookshops based in the south of England.
As every shop is unique in its size and location the concept was to use the individual architectural features to form the basis of the interior design. Each bookshop is intended to create a focus for the local community and the ‘homemade’, comfortable feel was intended to be a far cry from the usual roll out of chain bookshops.
Our logo design takes on the idea of random stacks of books, each store effectively having a bespoke logo based on the letters of the name of its location. This means that although the style will tie the shops together, the logo will be completely unique!
Local, small scale companies are great to work with – a few more examples of our logo design work that you may find of interest are for a Kent-based estate agent, a surveillance equipment manufacturer and a language school.
