PROJECT: Adding to the increasing portfolio of Mamado International’s hair, skincare and beauty brands and with the current trend in men’s beard growth and male grooming in general, we were asked to create the packaging design identity for a capsule range of men’s face and beard care products.
THE MEN’S CAPSULE RANGE
The new grooming range consists of a fragrant conditioning beard oil, a beard shampoo and a face and beard moisturiser.
MASCULINE STYLING WITH A TWIST
Breaking away from the usual barbershop and traditional style of graphics, the new carton and label design feature a modern, masculine grey metallic ink with a fine repeat pattern.
All three products feature full wrap labels – the beard oil spray pump sold in a matching carton. A vivid yellow highlight colour coupled with the Mamado brand logo feature in a silver foil make the packaging truly eye-catching.
The vertical orientation of the text is a deliberate point of difference and allows the product names to be larger than normal and highly legible.
SHIPPING PRODUCTS IN STYLE!
The outer shipping cartons have also been considered and custom printed shipping boxes have been created featuring complementary graphics to match the primary product graphics and colouration.
MEN’S FACE AND BEARD CARE ADVERT DESIGN
To support the launch and marketing of their new range of mens’ beard and skincare products, Mamado International asked us to design a series of magazine adverts featuring a range of different men’s faces, appealing to different markets.
The adverts feature pack shot imagery of the new skincare products and engaging imagery of bearded male models – each with a different look and feel for use in varying markets around the world.
Launching later this month this new men’s face and beard care range will be available at independent retailers and online.
